@MkayKaye I'd heard the name Alex Murdaugh a lot recently, but never really followed. Then I saw this land in my YT recommended, and thought, "great! 48 Hours will catch me up on everything". Instead it was a mishmash of half-stories and quarter-stories. How did Murdaugh walk away from being shot in the head? What is Murdaugh's version of that event? What does law enforcement believe happened that day? Why did the 19 year old found dead in the road somehow attach itself to Murdaugh family years later? The 19 year old and the guy who allegedly shot Murdaugh in the head have the same last name. Are they related? So many questions like this, and 48 Hours didn't bother to explain anything. There are YouTubers with 16 subscribers who put together better stories than this. What an embarassment.

@Rohn Jambo Thank you for that. I never heard of the channel you mentioned, but you already explained more in one comment than this show did in 42 minutes of video. I have no idea how this mess of a final product made it to air, as it explained nothing, and I mean nothing! of what happened here. Shockingly bad episode. What were they thinking?

@beverlywhite5438 Dateline may be the worst of all the crime shows. 48 Hours is usually the best - but not this episode, which was unbelievably bad. They explained nothing. The on-air reporter and executive producer should be sent packing for actually putting this disaster on television.

You thought this episode was "top quality"? I say this is not only the worst episode of 48 Hours ever, it is the worst true crime episode on any channel in history. They explained nothing. I kept waiting for them to make it past the introductory stage and start explaining things. After 42 minutes, I'm still waiting.

1. The cleaning lady looks more like 87 than 57. 2. This show explained nothing. I can't believe 48 Hours put out such a terrible product. Nothing made sense! Both the on-air reporter and the executive producer for this episode should be fired.
