  1.  @russelconor8704  The best 48 Hours host - actually the best host anywhere, assuming we are talking about hosts who do their own reporting, and not just voiceovers - is Richard Schlesinger. By far the most interesting, thorough, and engaging of all the reporters. And the worst? Keith Morrison, in a landslide. He tries waaaaay to hard to be too cute and make it all about himself, instead of just telling the damn story. Anyone with intelligence has theirs insulted by Morrison's grating style. Same was true for the late Peter Thomas to a lesser extent, he of the quavering voice when he thought it would add to the drama. Incredibly annoying. I can not watch anything narrated by either of those two, although Morrison is much worse than Thomas was.

  3.  @rockstarofredondo  Maureen Maher is a solid professional. Morrison works for the sub-90 IQ crowd. He's so over the top with his nonsense, it is painful to listen to.

  4.  @leahstone9308  Thank you!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate that, doubly so coming from a woman. It is usually women who absolutely adore Morrison, for reasons that are utterly beyond me. His over-the-top put-on style is so incredibly grating, that I managed to watch half an episode of his on Dateline before I gave up, and refuse to watch anything of his since. Which is unfortunate, because I have a longstanding interest in true crime, and probably have hundreds of cases committed to memory. But even if I want to learn more about a case, if it's Keith Morrison, I'm out immediately. He is the worst of the worst. (Just to be clear, I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, and I'm not commenting on his character whatsoever, just his style of narration.)

  7. Rob Leef and his infrared camera is about as meaningless as can be in this case. Who cares? That guy walking from the car could have been Osama bin Laden. Or Minnie Mouse.
