  1.  @Charmingpreppylife  My stalker was a neighbor who threatened my wife, threatened each of my sons, and once beat me so badly that I went to the hospital with a brain injury, and could have died. He also signed us up constantly for junk mail; we received crazy amounts of mail for years, and spent hundreds of hours canceling all that. His punishment? Um...nothing, unless you count the two year protective order we received. He violated the protective order constantly, and was arrested several times - and was let go every single time. My wife and I quietly bought a house, and one day we just moved away. Thank God we haven't heard from him since then. But the law doesn't exactly take stalking seriously.

  5. My stalker not only signed us up for thousands of pieces of junk mail, he physically threatened my wife, and threatened my sons as well. Me? He sent me to the hospital with a brain injury; I could have died. The law did next to nothing, only getting us a two year protective order, which he violated routinely. We quietly bought a house and just disappeared from the neighborhood one day. Craziness.
