  1. 1. McNamara was John, not Dave. Weird mistake. 2. Buckner is NOT a HoFer. Never walked, limited power. .321 lifetime OBP, .729 OPS. Lifetime WAR of 15 - in 22 seasons. One All Star game in those 22 seasons, and never Top Nine in MVP votes. Not much of a clutch hitter, and absolutely atrocious in the playoffs and World Series. 3. Mookie Wilson is the guy who is far closer to being the perfect person than Gary Carter was.
