@jausti2 In short, you have no interest whatsoever in facts, and instead choose to repeat propaganda which ignores all that. The truth has been written about by folks like Thomas Sowell, Heather Mac Donald, Larry Elder, John McWhorter, Shelby Steele, Walter Williams, and others, but you'd rather live your life falsely believing that you are a victim. It's a sad way to live, but apparently how you prefer it.

@bluto212 That will never happen. There is a world of information out there today; spending a year reading an outdated and discredited trilogy is hardly on my to-do list. Try reading Thomas Sowell, which will get you a lot further in life.

@bluto212 Friedman taught Sowell. And I've read Friedman as well. I am familiar with basic Marxist theory, which is plenty, thank you. Sowell has no need to reinvent the wheel, and neither do I. If reading relatively recent philosophers is your thing, then go for Locke and Adam Smith. At least their ideas work, as opposed to Marx's.

@bluto212 No, we've had many, many years with which to see which ideas work and which don't. Marx's ideas have been an utter catastrophe. And I am familiar with his basic ideas, as I wrote, without needing to devote a major part of my life to reading his trilogy (most of which was written by Engels, by the way). How is it that a person who claims to be reasonable would prefer Marx and Engels to Locke and Adam Smith?

Not too complicated for anyone with even average intelligence. Apparently you don't qualify. Speaking of which, your favorite authors wouldn't combine to match the intellect of a Ben Shapiro, and certainly not of the great Thomas Sowell. If you were to give a fig for actual facts, Sowell would be the one you'd be paying attention to, although Shapiro is certainly worthwhile as well.

@jausti2 Except that the data shows that the only bias in the US currently is in favor of POCs and against whites and Asians. YT won't allow me to post links, but one can find the video where Larry Elder brought Dave Rubin over to the conservative side by citing facts, and one can read anything and everything written by Heather Mac Donald, and there is plenty more out there.

Start by reading "Are We All Unconscious Racists?" by Heather Mac Donald. A simple online search will find the article. And before you ask me again, no, I can't put the link here, nor will I type out an 8,000 word article.

Marx himself was a heartless grifter who treated family and acquaintances awfully. (Can't say he did the same with friends, but with friend - his only one, Engel, whom he treated like dirt.) There is nothing admirable about Marx or Marxism. Expand your horizons.
