  5. Actually, his case is extremely hard to prove. He must prove that: 1. She lied, 2. With the specific intent of damaging his career, and 3. His career was in fact damaged. Very, very difficult.

  11.  @pamelameadows9717  My family had to move without telling anyone because of a persistent stalker who falsely accused us of harassing him. I had boatloads of evidence against him, including videotape, but some people believed him anyway. The good news is that since we moved physically, it's been much easier emotionally. Another example is my daughter who changed schools because of a lying abuser. Again, it's easier once the physical change has been made. Similar story for other examples of what we've been through, including a job I lost due to a lying coworker who actually assaulted me, but claimed the reverse (we were both sent packing). 16 years later, I would hope that you no longer focus on what was done to you, but have been able to largely move on.
