@jarrodgeikie870 People say all sorts of things in polls, but it means nothing. Any poll taken today would show only 40% of people saying they voted for Biden. Every single post-election poll shows these kind of disparities.

@brandonjohnson191 Voting for Trump is one thing, idolizing him another. Did you support Trump when he said that Ted Cruz's father killed JFK? Or when he attacked Cruz's wife? Trump did stuff like that 1000 times. Quit doing the ostrich. As to the election, your claim is without basis. You can't source it, because it doesn't exist. Trump lost in the courts, because his claims were baseless.

@brandonjohnson191 It doesn't go by baseless claims. If you can't make a case in court, then give it up. I should note that not a single state has had a recount change the results, and that includes Arizona amd Wisconsin.

@jarrodgeikie870 People change their minds all the time. There is nothing less reliable in polling than self-reporting. Presidential elections with incumbents are almost always referenda on the incumbent. Little attention is paid to the challenger. That was vastly more true in 2020 because... A)Biden hid in the basement, B)The media covered for him, and C)Trump is a larger than life figure. Trump said in 2016 that he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose a vote from his base. This comment section is evidence that what he said was correct. Similarly, the hatred for Trump in 2020 was such that Biden could have shot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lost a vote. Every one of those 81m who voted for Biden had burned with hatred for Trump for years, and no Biden scandal would have changed their vote.

@PistolSovereign Trump was an infinitely better president policy-wise, although he certainly got things wrong as well. Biden? The worst POTUS in history, as we can see now. If 2024 is Biden vs Trump, there will be a third party candidate, such as Bloomberg, because the choice would be disastrous. Democrats are praying that the GOP nominates Trump again. They want no part of DeSantis, who would eat Biden's lunch.

@jarrodgeikie870 You may not know, but I do, because I've been following politics closely for decades, and I've seen this routine before. Most folks had stopped paying attention once the two main candidates were set, and the rest quit after Trump humiliated himself in the first debate against Biden. By then, every Democrat was chomping at the bit to vote against Trump, as were most independents and some Republicans. The thought then was, "Get Trump out NOW, figure out the rest later", and no laptop would have changed a thing. The only time it would have mattered were had it come out early in the primaries, and would have meant a different nominee for the Democrats.
