  15. Quayle was and is a very sharp guy who had the unfortunate tendency of freezing up in front of the cameras. Of course the leftist media did everything to tear him down, with vicious, dishonest, disgusting attacks. Those people have no shame. I followed politics very carefully in the late 1980 and early 1990s. Quayle may well have been the most politically astute member of the Bush I Administration. He is a very impressive guy. Then there's Kamala, who is the furthest thing from imlressive, both in regards to intellect as well as morality. But it's all different now, as the media decrees that anyone who doesn't revere her is racist and/or sexist. I'm about at the point where if the media tells me it's a beautiful day outside, it's time to grab the umbrella.

He did have a tendency to freeze up in front of the cameras, which allowed the media to twist his every word and insult his intelligence, despite his being smarter than most of them were. Of course with Kamala, if anyone notes her intellectual or ethical limitations, the media accuses them of ulterior motives based upon race or gender.
