Comments by "Jim Werther" (@jimwerther) on "Obama attacks 'right-wing' media for concerns over critical race theory" video.
He ran and got elected in 2008 as a reasonable centrist, but he was a race-baiting radical underneath all along.

Not the most divisive president ever. That is obviously untrue.

JAB !82 Lincoln was divisive in his election, not as much in his presidency. John Adams and Andrew Johnson were certainly more divisive in their respective presidencies than was Obama. Trump as well. Andrew Jackson is another one. FDR for his first few years is also a good one for this list. I'm sure there are more I haven't thought of off the top of my head.

JAB !82 Not sure where you disagreed with what I wrote. As to how to rank the most polarizing presidents from within the list I provided, that would be quite a challenging task for the best of historians. Times change, and reporting was different back then. I don't know how you would sort that out between the likes of John Adams, Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, and Trump. Adams and Johnson during their respective presidencies certainly were reviled by a large amount - quite possibly a majority - of the country.
