@bender9222222222 I am well aware of Batista: It is absurd to claim that he was worse than Fidel or Ché. And either way, the idea that someone opposed to the communist murderers necessarily supports Batista is obviously false.

Estimates are all over the place on how many were killed by those three, but you naturally choose the highest for Batista and the lowest for your commie friends because it suits your false narrative. You are choosing the highest number on Batista and the lowest on Castro et. al., in order to serve your false narrative. 2. Your claim that Ché remains popular in Cuba today? Care to source that claim? You can't, of course. 3. The deaths directly caused by Batista vs. those caused directly by Fidel, Ché and co. ignores the many indirect deaths, including suicide - which tripled under Fidel - as well as the many drownings for those who tried to escape. It also ignores the misery under Castro, where those who survive live under deplorable circumstances. Under Batista, the average person was living a middle class existence. 4. Once again, no one anywhere is defending the murderous dictator Batista, which is your red herring for your support of the murderous thug Ché, as well as the rest of that evil group. Only a lunatic - or the supremely ignorant - would raise Ché up in any way positive.

It said nothing about him being popular in Cuba. That was your invention. Batista was a dictator. I've covered this repeatedly. The GDP under his reign was similar to that of France and Britain. Can't say that about Cuba today. Do basic homework before lashing out at me again for daring to be factual.

@bender9222222222 Did you ever take an economics course? GDP per person is a standard way of measuring standard of living. No one with any knowledge of Cuba before and after the late 1950s would say that the standard of living was better after a few years of Castro than it had been under Batista. I wrote repeatedly that Batista was a murderous dictator, so your claim that I ignored that part is obviously hollow. You, however, continue to ignore the many points I have made which conclusively demonstrate that you are an ignorant leftist frantically trying to twist the facts to fit his preferred narrative.

As to "inequality", your Marxist professor may not tell you this, but the only way to achieve equal results is to spread the misery throughout society, although there is always a carve out for the commissars, who live vastly above the level of the others. In a free society, inequality is inevitable, but everyone does better than in a leftist hellhole. It's only a problem in a free society for those who are green with envy, instead of being content with their lot. The name used for those folks is "leftists".
