@kimdavis5631 Fauci is an incompetent boob. He is the same guy who spooked folks in the 1980s by suggestion that AIDS could be spread by casual contact, long after science had concluded otherwise. And his handling of the WIV and gain-of-function research is certainly a major contributor to the death of millions worldwide.

@charlytaylor1748 But the mistrust surrounding the vaccines is wildly overblown. If you don't want your healthy child to get vaccinated, then fine. But a 70 year old who has not had Covid is undoubtedly safer with the vaccine than without.

@charlytaylor1748 At 62, I would think you have crossed over to the side where it makes sense to get jabbed. I'm younger than you, and I got the JnJ vaccine in July, the JnJ one being of least concern. I have a friend in his mid-70s who refused to get vaccinated - last I spoke to him - and I think he's crazy.

@charlytaylor1748 Last year I got hit with Covid, age 49, 165 lbs. Sickest I've ever been, two weeks in bed, missed three weeks of work. Anyway, the older one is, the less he needs to worry about long term effects. I will grant you, though, that should you get Covid, you are highly likely to come out of it okay. But I still think that the risk of Covid is greater than the risk of vaccination. But hey, free country. Or at least it should be.

@cherylhart9370 A typo is "your" instead of "you're", "juat" instead of "just", "schopl" instead of "school", or a period in place of a comma, to name a few examples. But my point about your doctor theory was rather different: You stated a blanket disqualifier about doctors in general, while excluding your own from that rule. Apparently you failed to consider that others have their own doctors who they trust as well.
