That's brilliant! Never seen or heard that before.

@mikefabbi5127 Sowell and Reagan. Two greats. May Sowell live forever.

@mikefabbi5127 As a US history teacher, I maintain that the two best presidents ever are George Washington and Ronald Reagan, not necessarily in that order. And I'm not just saying that, I thought about it for years before reaching any sort of conclusion.

The media has reportedthe baby formula shortage for a month, but this is the first time I have heard a rational explanation for it. Thank you, John Stossel. And shame on the mainstream media.

Anyone opposed to supporting Ukraine is selfish or an idiot. Or both.

@simplysarah0310 As if the money being sent to Ukraine was otherwise going to be used to save American lives. Really?? The government builds bridges to nowhere, but mostly it pays millions of people to become single mothers and to not work. The absolutely tiny percent of the budget used on Ukraine? Money well spent, although not nearly enough.
1
@simplysarah0310 The two are unrelated. 1. Money given to support Ukraine is not taken from any other program. 2. World stability helps everyone, the US included.

@simplysarah0310 1. Money given to support Ukraine is not taken from any other program. And world stability helps everyone, the US included. 2. Your supper analogy is far off base. No one is starving because of the support sent to Ukraine. The difference in the US budget is infinitesimal, and the results enormous. It would be irresponsible to not help Ukraine, and let Russia upend the world order, all to save the US equivalent of one person's Tuesday supper at McDonald's. 3. Four consecutive responses to me? Really?

@simplysarah0310 As I have explained repeatedly, you could not possibly be more wrong. US isolationism is a disastrous idea, as has been proven repeatedly. You were likely in favor of leaving Afghanistan as well, right? That one has worked out just swimmingly, hasn't it? As it happens, US weakness demonstrated clearly in the cataclysmic Afghanistan pullout is what gave the Russians the confidence to invade Ukraine in the first place. A strong US is indispensable to a stable world, which helps everyone with good intentions, not least the United States. Isolationism is a myopic, unthought out, unmitigatedly bad idea.

@Seriously-m1p In short, you have no idea what you are talking about. Not responding to the 9.11.01 attacks would have been disastrous. US Isolationism leads to World Wars, as it encourages the worst people in the world to replace us on the world scene. And your support of Biden despite his obvious failures is stunning.
1
@Seriously-m1p 1. Letting al-Qaeda get away with the 9.11 attacks may be the dumbest idea I've ever heard. 2. US isolationism leads to world wars. It encourages the worst leaders in the world to take our place. 3. The GOP swept the November elections for a reason. Biden supporters like yourself should wake up.

@Seriously-m1p 1. Letting al-Qaeda get away with the 9-11 attacks is about the dumbest idea I ever heard.

@Seriously-m1p 2. American isolationism leads to global instability, world wars, and the world's worst dictators acting as they please. It is horrendous policy.

@Seriously-m1p 3. If you want to keep supporting Biden despite his being possibly the worst POTUS in history, that's your problem. I voted for our current president.

@Seriously-m1p Not supporting Ukraine as Russia invaded would have been unconscionable. And the cost to taxpayers was either zero or close to it.
