It's called selective editing

@sheethalsanthosh3338 Just shut off the notifications, ffs. Or delete your OP. Not complicated.

Actually, the best chance is First Ladies riding their husband's coattails. Think Hillary or Michelle.

@chaseoconnor5207 Don't assume they have a better system. The true American system, which was in place before the leftists ruined everything, was vastly superior. Socialism or socialism junior ruins everything it touches.

@HistoricLife I'm glad you have convinced yourself of a fairy tale, but I'll stick with facts instead. Free market capitalism has pulled more than 1b people out of poverty in the last 20 years alone. Nima Sanandaji's concise but scholarly work, "Scandinavian Unexceptionalism", utterly dismantles the claims about democratic socialism between a superior system. If you care about the facts, you can read Sanandaji's book, as well as Thomas Sowell's "Basic Economics". With an open mind, one can learn a lot.
1
@HistoricLife You continue to spout falsehoods, which is what people do when they have no facts. Sowell has never been bested; he is the pre-eminent public intellectual in the United States today. Your refusal to avail yourself of the facts does you no favors.
1
@HistoricLife What is abundantly clear is that you are entirely ignorant of Sowell and his work, instead eagerly assuming he has credible detractors. Sowell has been the pre-eminent public intellectual of the last half century: In his younger years he took on all comers, and bested them all. Unfortunately you would rather not do any work nor open your mind, so no amount of factual information will make a dent in your thinking feelings. But the facts are easily available for those wiyh an open mind and an interest in learning.
1
@tinat.4508 As they should. No system has moved more people up the economic chain better and faster than has the free market.
1
@HistoricLife Based upon your comments, it is abundantly clear that you lack the most basic knowledge of economics, and that you know absolutely nothing of Thomas Sowell. I can't force you to seek knowledge. If you want to become educated, ask. If you choose to remain ignorant, that's just one more bad choice you've made.
1
@HistoricLife Unlike you, I keep myself informed on various sides. I would spend a little time here pointing out specific falsehoods you wrote, but you have already established your aversion for the truth with your transparently false claims about Sowell having been disproven many times - it's never happened once - and, more basically, by claiming to have read Sowell, when you are unfamiliar with even one single idea of his, something which you could not have made more clear in your comments. I don't know why you would resort to lying in a YT comment section, unless that is your SOP in life.
1
@HistoricLife First paragraph: Thoroughly debunked by Nima Sanandaji, as mentioned. Second paragraph: Thoroughly debunked by Thomas Sowell, as mentioned. You've used terminology that makes no sense, as anyone familiar with Sowell would know, which demonstrates that you are lying, and wasting my time.
1
@HistoricLife Sowell never said or wrote that raising the minimum wage will cause hyperinflation. Further evidence that you are talking out of your nether quarters. YT immediately deletes all comments I post which contain links. I would have to write my own detailed explanation, but I am not inclined to type 2000 words for someone to read if that person has no interest in the facts to begin with.
1
@HistoricLife Glad to see you are running away from your false claim about Sowell predicting hyper-inflation. As to your false claim about Seattle workers benefiting from the $15/hr handout, here is a headline from the leftist Washington Post: "A ‘very credible’ new study on Seattle’s $15 minimum wage has bad news for liberals" Only in your bubble would you believe that leftist ideas have been successful, which is the opposite of the facts. Why do you persist in posting nonsense? To what end?
1
@HistoricLife Every single article and report says otherwise. Why are you openly lying?
1
@HistoricLife Oh, the irony. Whatever, you want to live in a fantasy world, I can't help you.
1
@stevec6427 Funny, I remember Western Europe begging the US to show up in WWI, and particularly in WWII. Be happy you're not speaking German now.
1
@nightlightabcd Same for the left reading the NYT, WP, and LAT, and watching CNN, CBS, NBC, and ABC.

It would have been nice if this video had also shown some of the positives she highlighted in her speech...

Reagan was the best, and we had many good ones afterward as well.

Sadie and her family are very special people. Not everyone would go along with such an idea. I am glad she had her time with him. I'm sure it meant the world to him.

Anyone who believes this video at face value is showing himself to be uneducated and a fool

It would have been nice if the valedictorian had better basic grammar skills.... I guess we know why she didn't?

I never heard of Trish Regan, but this "takedown video" is a farce. First of all, Trish Regan is one person, not the entire Fox News. Secondly, we still have no idea what Regan said, because she was selectively edited. If anyone still believes that "democratic socialism" works, they are simply misinformed. Nima Sanandaji's "Sandinavian Unexceptionalism" conclusively dismantles that myth.
