  15.  @collectivelycurious3177  There is no evidence whatsoever that poverty causes crime. The correlation between poverty and crime is just that - correlation, not causation. And the statistics are there to support that. The switch in approach, begun in the 1950s, from removing criminals to rehabilitating and excusing them, led to a more than six-fold increase in crime. Once people had enough with that nonsense, pressure built upon elected officials to get tough on crime, and rates sank like a stone. But recently the pro-crime leftists have begun to reassert themselves, and the skyrocketing crime rates in big cities have resulted.

I have never, ever seen him get as mad as he does when he talked about the absurd war on GMO and the incredible damage it does.

Government regulating rent is a very big reason why rent is so high, as it leads to far less housing being built. If the government would just let the free market do its thing, housing would be far more accessible to everyone.

When you say that "time has passed", are you referring to the Dec 2021 article? That is barely more than a year ago. There was another article from 2019, but the 2021 article obviously had more current information.
