@halcyonsikes7018 I disagree with you. Dad is not pushing the kid; the kid is pushing himself. Dad even said that if he doesn't become a professional then oh well, he'll have to get a job. But when the kid asks his father how he performed, he expects an honest answer, not some obvious BS he would see through anyway.

The girl is now 28, and has turned into a real beauty. She apparently considers herself a poet first and an artist second. She appears to be single, without a significant other. It doesn't appear that there are major updates to the story though.
