  3. Not so simple. That makes it far too easy for bad actors to claim to want to return an item, receive a full refund, and then just keep it. They'll do that repeatedly, and the cost is then spread to all customers. Fact is, crooks make everyone's life more difficult and more expensive. If everyone was honest, life would run far more efficiently and inexpensively. One can literally not name a single field in which the rest of us don't land up inconvenienced due to the actions of dishonest people.
