  2. That's exactly wrong. Without plea deals, we wouldn't have a court system, which would collapse under the weight. Rube Franke is hardly a threat to anyone when she is 60 years old and her youngest 25, and that is doubly true if the courts offer each of her children the option of a lifetime order of protection. Save life sentences for those who are ongoing threats to society.

  3. As if all those subscribers followed her advice. I'd never heard of her before the arrest, but don't act as if every subscriber is a cult member. Just being a good looking family in a nice house could get many women to watch, even if they didn't agree with her methods. My wife, for example, has an IQ above 140 and a highly responsible job, but also watches some of the dumbest crap imaginable. It's just an escape. Remember: Men prefer non-fiction, women prefer fiction.
