  4.  @PauletteStoddarrd  Hoarding incandescent bulbs is exactly the sort of thing I would have done, and even thought about doing when production was being outlawed. But it turns out the alternatives were and are far cheaper, and I very quickly got used to the difference in appearance. I landed up switching before I had to. So much for all that.
