@BKCLEO It's been a few years, and my memory is hazy, but I remember reports of him being unnecessarily aggressive on multiple occasions. I recall one specific case involving a white female. Furthermore, Chauvin's non-reaction for a couple of minutes while the crowd hollered at him that Floyd had stopped moving seems really cold. None of which changes the fact that he was railroaded. But he's hardly the best poster-boy for victims of mob justice. I'll save that designation for the other three cops on the scene.

Chauvin was a lousy cop, but his conviction was nonetheless outrageous. Even worse was the conviction of the other three. Is Minnesota in the USSR?

Neely's father doesn't have two nickels to rub together. What's the point? For Penny to lose even more money?

@iss8504 No, he does not. The GFM money was used to pay legal bills. From the beginning donors were told that any extras would go towards some charity, I forget which. Something to do with mental health care, obviously a reference to Neely and an attempt by the lawyers to demonstrate that Penny had the proper motivations. But did the money go into Penny's pocket? No, it did not.
