 @pibarrante6901 Israel has given us top notch intelligence for decades. Their Mossad is much sharper the CIA, which is why we need them.

@noname-ue7lb One excellent way to have America fall for good would be to let the worst actors in the world take over the globe. The West tried that in the 1920s and 1930s; didn't go too well. Let me add that the money spent on foreign affairs is not only essential, it is a tiny percentage of the budget. The entitlement programs enacted by FDR and LBJ, and added to by others since then, is why this country is broke. Imagine someone allowing a fire to rage out of control across the street from his house in order to save the price of water it would take to put it out. That's myopic.

@noname-ue7lb The tiny amount of money spent on keeping the worst people in the world from running the world? Every penny is well spent. "Entitlement programs" cost around 30× the amount. Focus there.

@noname-ue7lb 1930s isolationism didn't work out too well. And spending on foreign policy is a tiny percent of the budget, well worth it.
