But, how is it funded? YOUR TAX $! Oh, so it is billionaires' tax $? So, they are taxed $1000 just to pay their own UBI, plus enough to cover everyone else, right? So, Yang is the modern day Robin Hood, taking from the rich to give to the poor? Trump and his Repug cronies will love to campaign against that platform! Feeds straight into the 'socialist dependency' narrative. This is a platform that directly caters to greed and placing one's selfish motivations above ensuring that our elections are not corrupt. The popularity of this proposal only demonstrates how far our standards have fallen, considering the high expectations of our founding fathers. Apart from this issue, Andrew Yang is very sharp, tech savvy, fun, and flies by the seat of his pants pretty well. I see no malice. He could be a refreshing public servant, if that truly is his long term goal. So, I wish him the best of luck.
