@namename6797 BS! tRump set it all up and left the Afghan government without the means to defend itself, just to dump it all on Biden. The agreement was that the US military would allow the Taliban to control everything, except for the cities, until a 5/1/2021 US troop withdrawal, which would be Biden's problem to execute.
tRump unleashed 5,000 ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Taliban leaders from a Pakistani prison for terrorists. They had a whole year to organize their coup without US obstruction.
The Afghan Security Forces had no ammo to defend themselves against the Taliban forces, so they simply defected, as soon as our troops evacuated from Bagram airbase.
The Afghan government officials knew that the inevitable was happening and suggested destroying documents.
The Afghan government didn't have a chance, regardless of who was in charge.
tRump set the trap for both the Afghan government and President Biden, then relished in his own created mayhem.
He's responsible for the entire mess. Biden was his fall-guy whose hand was forced to make all the tough decisions. Yet, no one could have done a better, more responsible job.

@mndsph4530 At 69 years of age, I must disagree. Most young people are overly confident, too idealistic, and motivated by narcissism. They're focused upon proving who they are, without much empathy nor sympathy for others. So how can they be qualified to serve the needs of others?
The 'new blood' GQP Freedom Caucus in the US Congress only want to create chaos and dysfunction, instead of adhering to the righteous vision of our Founding Fathers and their Constitution, which is what has made America great to begin with.
I grew up during the '60s hippy generation of rebellion and enlightenment. I still hold on to those youthful values. But, I'm old enough to understand that parents need to have dependable jobs and homes to support their families.
I support President Biden's administration, because they are pushing the most progressive anti-climate change policies, education for job skills, and basing their decisions upon scientific facts, not blind faith.
Yes, change is life's only constant and time never stands still. So it is only proper for young people to hold previous generations accountable and correct their mistakes, especially regarding corruption.
But, with age comes wisdom and the need to leave behind a worthy legacy. Old folks have already been there and have experienced setbacks, obstacles, and failures that the youth never even consider nor could imagine. Why should the youth always need to learn these things the hard way?
What could be more ideal than allowing wisdom to guide youthful energy along the proper path? By working together, no mountain is too great to overcome and no river is too wide to cross.

People are dying because of 1/2 a century worth of such willful ignorance. /smh
"You ain't seen nuttin', yet."
Future generations will suffer heat, drought, crop failures, hunger, famine, wildfires, super storms, ...
But, apparently you don't have children and won't be around to suffer their fate.
No doubt, you're defending being the owner of a gas guzzler, complaining about high gas prices.

Yes! Thank you. First this program shows a poll among 'those who disapprove of Biden's performance', w/o revealing how the approvers poll. Then, she interviews a GOP governor, so that he can get his licks in. Then, it's skyrocketing COVID cases, instead of the reduction of deaths from 7.8 per 100K to 0.13. That's a HUGE success story that none of the news networks ever mention.
Then they HAD to remind everyone of one bad day of evacuating 125,000 civilians in the middle of a terrorist infested coup. 23 US troops were blown up by one suicide bomber, after being warned of an imminent attack on Abbey Gate, but they stood their posts to allow British troops to escort their citizens inside.
By comparison, on average, 1,800 US citizens are murdered by guns EVERY 3 WEEKS in their own neighborhoods.
Besides, tRump set up the Afghan trap for Biden to take the fall, after he freed 5000 Taliban, ISIS, and Al Qaeda leaders from a Pakistani prison, just as long as they didn't attack our troops during the 2020 election runup.

Bush was too busy reading nursery rhymes at a kindergarten. When informed, he froze, not knowing how to respond.
So, he invented WMDs, attacked Iraq, started 20 years' worth of Middle East wars, failed to get Bin Laden, and couldn't handle the Wall Street collapse, families losing their homes to pay medical bills, nor save the auto industry, which Romney said, "Let it fail."
Obama/Biden picked up the pieces, killed bin Laden, saved America's auto industry, then gave US ACA.
Moscow Mitch & the GQP have made every effort to sabotage our healthcare. tRump added 25% to our national debt, reneged on JPCOA (Iran has resumed weapons grade enrichment of Uranium), and single-handedly gave Afghanistan back to the Taliban.
"Republicans don't know how to drive. Every time they get the helm, they head US straight intothe gtter." President Barack Obama.

@janetdotson7829 Thank you for explaining and I get that. But, shouldn't that be their answer, instead of shying away from what everyone is waiting on bated breath to hear?
It's the avoidance that tRumptards pick up on to say, "You see? They're not going to prosecute tRump. If he was a criminal, then they would have arrested him by now."
Meanwhile, the midterms clock is winding down and tRump's loyalists are already lined up. Republican states have rigged their election laws to be able to discard ballots virtually on a whim.
Dems need to get their messaging happening and tRump needs to be indicted within the next few weeks or we'll find ourselves being subjected to Q-nut right wing ideological authoritarianism while inflicting unimaginable suffering upon future generations.
Not that I'm some kind of fear monger, or anything like that. I simply believe in scientific data from a bunch of highly educated folks, with letters behind their names & all. They're not concerned with politics, in the least. Simply dedicated their lives to studying the mundane for a better understanding of nature.
Anyway, I'm probably preaching to the choir, JS.

By all means, let's remind voters about the 1st day of chaos during the Afghan 'withdrawal', which was played on a continuous news loop for over a year, without mentioning that it was tRump who betrayed the blood of our troops, wasted 20 years worth ($Trillions) of taxpayer funding, freed 5,000 Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Taliban terrorists from the Pakistani prison, secretly promised that they could have Afghanistan back UNDER BIDEN'S TERM, while being impeached, just for campaign bragging points.
FACT: Our military succeeded in 'withdrawing' from Bagram air base, during the cloak of one night's darkness, without local Afghans even realizing.
FACT: tRump had no intentions of evacuating and saving 125,000 of western citizens nor our Afghan allies.
China? Remind voters that General Milley had to talk down his Chinese military counterparts against a preemptive nuclear attack upon US, had tRump's insurrection succeeded.
BIDEN ALREADY NEGOTIATED THE RESUMPTION OF MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS WITH CHINA MONTHS AGO, DURING HIS SF MEETING WITH XI !! Why TF are you questioning whether it is happening?

Why does MSM have to pit one person's account against another's?
Obviously, during that morning, tRump discussed deploying 10,000 troops against BLM protestors with Esper, who shot down that suggestion. So, tRump dropped that idea by the time he spoke with Barr in the afternoon.
Furthermore, there's a huge difference between suggesting the deployment of troops, as per Esper, and actually issuing the order, as denied by Barr. That's not a discrepancy in their accounts. Barr simply didn't know what he didn't know. Du~uh, Margaret.🙄

@tzerbs FYI, as my alias should have made obvious, I'm not a part of any group of 'guys'. I'm one person speaking as one independent person, simply expressing my personal POV regarding what I'm witnessing every single day.
IMHO, only 2 DINOs and the Congressional GQP cowards are blowing our nation's best chance of salvaging our crippled democracy, just because of tRumpism. According to C of SD professor, our democracy has already devolved into an anocracy over the past 5 years. FYI, that's 50% anarchy vs 50% democracy.
Forget about Republicans vs Democrats. Liz Cheney and Adam Kingzinger are the only REAL Republicans left. The rest are traitors, who betrayed their oath of office in exchange for their don's "offer they couldn't refuse' and sealed 'the deal' with their infamous 'embrace' during the don's 1st week in the Oval office.
Now that they're in his mob, there's no leaving, without paying the consequences of the godfather's revenge.
Are you really so naïve that you can't recognize the mob when you see it? Or are you just being willfully ignorant and choose to turn a blind eye to such blatant corruption?
Where is your GOP of law and order? DEAD!

@tzerbs "Crooked Hillary, Crazy Bernie, Lying Ted, Pocahontas, Sleepy Joe, Little Marco, ..." all gangsta nicknames, straight out of the old movies; signaling that he's part of the NYC mob.
"The Donald" Rosie O'Donnell's nickname for 'the don'.
"You knew darn well I was a snake before you took me in..." FYI, that joke was on his loyal fans, who always laughed, right on queue like trained animals.
Accountant Wiesenberger in prison for running duplicate accounts ledgers. Fixer Cohen turning state's evidence. Stone did jail time for his don. Bannon, Meadows, Jordan, and others in contempt of Congress, refusing to testify.
RICO investigations against the tRump org and family.
The don only trusts his own spawn of heirs, the only ones who are always at his side. Everyone else gets used, abused, then discarded like his toilet paper.
Giuliani, Powell, Cyber Ninjas and 'stop the steal' attorneys; unpaid, disbarred, and being fined $1.2 Billion in defamation compensation to Dominion.
Every Congressman who pledged loyalty to the don are afraid of his vengeance, by funding his own loyalists to primary them, unless they hold the line regarding his Big Lie.
Intimidation of Georgia Sec of State to "find 11,780 votes"
This is the kind of POS you honestly believe is qualified to represent our nation after reneging on JCPOA, PCA, and being laughed at by NATO leaders?
You have absolutely no moral core to even consider such a thing. You're not any US citizen that I want anything to do with. You're a disgraceful tRumtarded traitor, just like the rest of his TDS infected cult.

"Well, e're going to need to witness a long term miracle, before admitting that Biden's administration has solved every lingering problem from the global COVID pandemic shutdowns.
WTF, is wrong with MSM pundits? They get a few minutes, in front of a TV camera, then start spilling their petty, half-baked political grievances all over US, like Sunday morning wannabe experts, with a wish list, ignorant of the damage being inflicted upon the American psyche.
When has the US ever been 100% problem free?
Why is it so difficult to say a word of praise or thanks for saving our nation, now only now, but decades into the future?
'Oh Dearie me... tsk, tsk. Why are Biden's polling #s so low? Why don't voters know about President Biden's miraculous accomplishments, both here and abroad?"
Polling = MSM messaging, get it?
Americans only believe whatever they read in echo chambers or what they hear pundits saying.
Why must a hermit resort to lecturing MSM pundits on responsible journalism (No offense to Margaret Brennon, being among the most responsible, IMHO)? /smh

What a BS poll, only among those who disapprove of Biden's efforts to save lives! Why aren't Biden's supporters being represented? Can't allow approval to challenge discontent, can we? Who wants to hear a happy news report, nowadays? No ratings in that, are there, MSM?
A #1: Who provided more confusing COVID misinformation than tRump? Drinking bleach, internal UV probes, hydroxychloroquine, pushing vaccines onto the market w/o FDA approval?
A #2: Promoting vaccine mandates has potentially saved millions of lives.
A #3: Within 6 months of being in office, this administration had distributed sufficient vaccines to immunize our entire population. Those same vaccines have proven to be effective against omicron. Only the unvaccinated are still dying, because of their own stubborn behavior.
A #4: Who cares about the increases of minor COVID cases? According to the CDC data, the number of deaths have dropped from 7.3 to .13 per 100K people, thanks to this administration's effective leadership.
Come on, Margaret. You're better than this irresponsible shitshow.

How disingenuous for a Repuke to complain about Dems not negotiating in good faith, while they refuse to negotiate at all.
"Again, what is the Republican's plan to address climate change," asks Margaret.
"Uhh, well, what we don't want is what the majority wants... we're on the path to being like Germany" wtf?!
You're saying that Dems are like Nazis, Congressman?! Last time I checked, today's Germany is the strongest economy in Europe, with a happy, productive, well educated workforce.
Looks to me like when our Congress only allows 1/2 of a climate change bill ot pass, then the rest of the world follows suite with only half of the required commitment, as well.
Why? Because of 2 DINOs, who refused to hold their party's line, like the other side of the aisle, who can't negotiate, legislate, compromise, nor contribute to helping their own nation. One raised eyebrow from tRump cowers them into pathetic toads.

Why would voters be happy with Biden, after 6 months of: Afghanistan, Afghanistan, Afghanistan,
Then another 3 months of:
Supply chain blockages, blockages, blockages,
Then, Russia, Russia, Russia,
inflation, inflation, inflation!
President Biden has done a fantastic job of addressing every problem, but MSM has constantly hounded him like a pack of hyenas.
Voters let Biden down by handing him an equally divided, dysfunctional Congress. Now, their taking it out on Dems for being unable to overcome constant filibuster abuse?
Why would any sane US voter cast a ballot for Republicants?
IT'S YOUR MESSAGING, STUPID!!
YOU ARE HANDING CONGRSS TO TRUMPTARDED TRAITORS!!!

Didn't you hear President Biden explain that his EO only applies to those, who are already here, with families, including natural born US citizens, the children of these DACA children of undocumented immigrants?
tRump wants to round up all but their natural US born children, split up those families and deport the US educated, DACA workers/taxpayers to countries they have never lived in, as well as their illegal immigrant parents.
As always, simple thinking rarely solves complicated problems. Biden is fully briefed by all parties, then comes to a decent, humane, compromise that would normally be bipartisan enough to pass through Congress, in regular order... if not for tRump pulling MAGA's leadership strings for personal retribution.

@namename6797 Bagram base was 40 miles away from Kabul, with a single road that was vulnerable to IEDs and attacks by ISIS and Al Qaeda. Bagram was only a military airbase with no facilities for feeding and accommodating civilian masses nor processing visas.
Once our troops evacuated Bagram, it was assumed that it would become the epicenter of a war zone between the Taliban and Afghan Security forces. No place for civilians.
So, our military slipped out of Bagram in the middle of the night, without the locals even noticing, nor one shot being fired. They literally disappeared into the night. Brilliant
Then the anticipated dangerous civilian evacuation mission was relocated to Kabul for quick, convenient access by civilians located within and near the densely populated capitol.
In and out within 3 weeks, before the terrorists could organize an effective attack upon the airport. Anti-missile defenses were prepositioned to ward off those potential attacks. Excellent strategy.
No one expected the Taliban to overthrow the Afghan government immediately, nor the resultant 1 day's rush of the panick-crazed Afghans flooding onto the runway (which was played on a continuous daily loop for months on end, imprinting that image upon Americans, making the mission appear chaotic). Yet, with effective diplomacy, instead of responding with military force to defend Kabul, our enemy became our allies, and even provided perimeter security for crowd control and safe passage of US citizens for evacuating.
Under the circumstances, how could the situation have been better?
The Taliban agreed to allow the military presence until Aug 31. No doubt, there would have been daily public beheadings of westerners, until we were gone. President Biden succeeded in evacuating over 125,000 US citizens and afghan civilians prior to meeting that deadline, with only minutes to spare.
Still, the Taliban provided escorts and safe passage of US citizens out of the country. Whoever wants to leave are allowed to leave.
Sorry, but I don't see any failures over these dangerous missions. Intel even warned our troops at Abbey Gate about the imminent attack by the 'lucky' suicide bomber. But, they left the gate open to allow British trops to escort their civilians into the airport.
Yes, there was one case of intel's mistaken identification of a white Toyota car bomb that was tracked for 6 hours, before being targeted by a drone, killing some Afghan civilians.
Meanwhile, EVERY 3 weeks, 1,800 US citizens are killed by gun violence in their own neighborhoods.
IMO, the critics of Biden's Afghan withdrawal don't understand the facts, have unrealistic expectations, and/or simply want to kick and old man who has saved millions of lives and our nation's democracy against another disastrous term of xenophobic tRumpism.

🤯This has got to be the interview of the year, if not this decade! NOW, we can look into the eyes of the very man to whom the previous inept administration gave the responsibility of serving up Afghanistan to the Taliban on a bloody platter.
Congratulations, to Margaret for holding his feet to the fire by making him answer all the right questions. Watch how he squirms and grins at the thought of Afghan girls being abused and denied from gaining their education and making their own choices for the rest of their lives. "Well, it's just a different point of view," the monster makes his inhumane excuses for Shariah laws
At least, he lays out an accurate account of Biden's evacuation mission, blaming the panic-crazed Afghan civilians for that horrible airport scene, being constantly replayed on an endless loop.
Also, he points out that this administration succeeded in negotiating the Taliban's cooperation to provide a security perimeter around the airport to control the crowds, instead of escalating the war with more deaths and destruction, extending the madness for who knows how much longer?
This is also the first I've heard about the suicide bomber being one of the 5000 terrorist prisoners that tRump had released.
This 'ambassador' also confirmed that the withdrawal was inevitably going to be messy regardless of who was managing it and that Biden pulled it off as well as anyone could reasonably expect.
Now that we have the ME's economic monkey off our backs, we are free to move forward into a better future, addressing our own neglected problems.
Well done, President Biden!
