  1. Kudos to Peter for calling out this Sheriff's BS. Title 42 was about restricting COVID spread from immigration and ended when Biden ended the COVID pandemic. Since this video, illegal immigration has reduced since the elimination of Title 42. Peter also made note of how broadcasting to the world that our border is open only makes the problem worse. Furthermore, the Biden administration has dramatically increased Immigration screeners and bilingual attorneys to process asylum seekers. The shipping containers only blocked wildlife migration, not illegals. It was a stupid as tRump's 'wall'

  3. This is a blatantly obvious authoritarian tRump fan, who wants to eliminate the restraints of law and order, including asylum, just to play as dirty as the cartels. This Sheriff ignores tRump's primitive camps of immigrants along the Mexican side of the border, who were easy prey for cartel coyotes. . While pretending that hasn't been going on for decades, he decries 1000 'inhumane' deaths in the desert and blames them on Biden, instead of it being their own decision. FYI, Sheriff, the world listens to US news reports, translated into their own native languages. Your broadcast of 'truth' is their invitation to head for our land of milk and plenty. He actually slipped and stated that the border problem has become a crisis since tRump For the past 7 years, tRump has been telling the world that the US border is wide open for the crossing and dismantled ICE. Instead of doing their jobs of passing Immigrations legislation, Congressional Republicans have been deliberately going to the border, with Fox News camera crews, in the middle of the night to demonstrate to the world how easily illegals are crossing the Rio Grande (being apprehended by BP off camera, BTW). Congressional Republicans are trying to defund ICE On the other hand, President Biden & Majorca are telling the world that the US border is NOT open. This administration has rebuilt ICE and has dramatically increased funding for border enforcement and surveillance. Which message is causing the problem and which is a more responsible means of reducing the problem, Sheriff? You admit that this administration has included local law enforcement in meetings, considered your input, and have made changes in priorities. But, you think you know the bigger picture better than they. "Only you know how to fix it, eh" @ 30:15 "My lane isn't Immigration." The most truthful comment this sheriff made. IMO, Republicans need to STFU and do their jobs, instead of blaming Dems for treating the victims of ruthless cartel violence humanely.

  4. Since the filming of this, the Biden administration has changed asylum rules that illegals who are caught evading portals will lose their asylum eligibility and only legal applications will be processed from the countries of origin. This has greatly reduced illegal immigration.
