@Roland D ? Fascism = narcissistic nationalism? That's a political philosophy? IMO, Democrats are trying to adhere to our Constitution, as intended by our founding fathers. Bipartisan negotiations and debates, ideally ending in moderate compromise. Those are the only tools that Congress has. But, today's GQP only knows how to obstruct, so compromise only results in 'throwing the baby out with the bath water'. The problem is illiterate voters, who don't understand elementary civics and our different levels of government, especially the part about our 3 legged federal balance of power and democratic majority rule. If American 'patriots' don't wise up, our nation will soon implode from its own stupidity.

@Roland D IMO, the GQP has overplayed its hand and is only left with lies (to energize their base), obstruction (to deny Dems' progress), and bluff (big talk w/o action). Their only 'policy' is pandering to wealthy donors with failed 'trickle down', aka tinkle on Reagonomics. Their loyalty to the NRA has resulted in excessive gun ownership, anarchist militias, and over 30,000 needless gun deaths every year. Whenever someone disagrees, just grab your gun and bully them into submission, just like the heroes of old wild wild westerns, broadcast to every home, every afternoon. Never mind the violent graphic computer games that have become our children's baby sitters, with dopamine rush rewards for the highest kill scores. (I digress) Republicants waste more on ME wars than their tax revenues generate, which has blown our annual budget and the national debt has blown through the non-existent ceiling. They have absolutely no intention of addressing climate change, nor supporting sustainable energy, a smart grid, nor e-vehicles. They are blatant racists against Asians, Blacks, Latinos, and Muslims. It betrays Constitutional truths that are 'self evident'. So their white evangelical base is dwindling into radicalized right wing white supremacists. Yes, our infantile capitalism has only produced a huge economic gap between the astronautical (literally), computer aided wealthy and disenfranchised, under educated unemployed. IMO, President Biden has the most comprehensive policies in recent history to put our nation back on the right track. But, they require bipartisanship. He keeps trying to negotiate across the aisle, only to be rejected. Yes, the filibuster as been abused and must be eliminated. The majority of sensible US voters need show up at the polling stations and get the GQP out of governance. "Republicans can't drive.
