Secondly, if it were remotely true, the police would shut them down, just like last year in Tucson, when one was shut down for prostitution. @Tyler Phillips Trump lost the popular vote and only won the electoral college with Russian collusion. Thanks to Barr's ridiculous 'Executive Immunity' that was glossed over in the Mueller report. But, Mueller testified that there was sufficient evidence to investigate further. trump was impeached twice for corruption. But, McConnell saved his ass from prosecution both times. Trump's first act (after installing his 'family' into the WH) was to summon Congressional Republicans into the Oval for the godfather's 'embrace' of loyalty; above national service. They all accepted his offer that they couldn't refuse. Trump never was POTUS and always a mob boss. He had no respect for the balance of powers, nor our Constitution. He aspired to become King of the World, with his heirs in waiting for the throne. You can't even compare Trump to Biden on any level whatsoever. Besides, Trump demonized all Democrats, instead of serving our whole nation.

Maybe you should focus upon the present reality of the atrocious acts of violence against the Asian community and allow them time to mourn. You want to have coverage of human trafficking rings, go for it. Contact a news channel and give them some leads. But, you don't have any right to dictate which events the MSM covers.

Censored User Yes. And the shooter confessed to the crime. That is acceptable court evidence of guilt. But, the motive is questionable. "Had a bad day." Doesn't cut it. That's a lame excuse, possibly made up by a sympathetic, perhaps racist police officer. (NEVER!, I hear you cry, smh) Such an officer might even go so far as to minimize the perp's sentence by advising him to not state that it was a hate crime against Asians. If not the police officer, any defense attorney worth his license would advise his client to not make such a statement. And if such a statement were made without the DA being present, it would be thrown out of court. Did you think about that? IMO, the evidence, based upon targeting 3 different Asian spas is significant, substantial, and undeniable. I rest my case.

@garyhall5397 First of all, my ex-wife is a licensed masseuse from Thailand, who recently opened her own Thai massage salon. So, yes you are being racist, regardless of the stereotype. Those Asian women are not on trial and there's no proof that they did anything wrong. Fair enough, people have been known to confess to crimes, in order to protect others. Michael Cohen comes to mind. But, in this case, the shooter was caught red handed and there's no question about his guilt. Again, regarding my suspicions of him receiving legal advice, a court would be more forgiving with a defendant who has admitted guilt and shows remorse. It simply doesn't pass the smell test, IMO. Neither does that BS sex addiction excuse. Why would he murder the women who were allegedly relieving his sexual addition? Isn't it more likely that he would murder them because they refused to do whatever he was demanding? Perhaps he was into S&M or some sort of kinky BS. Perhaps he was afraid that they would report him for being abusive. That would explain why he went from parlor to another, until he found someone who would submit to his demands. IMO, these are far more logical conclusions than him eliminating them in order to eliminate his own sexual addiction. Whatev. The Asian women and man didn't deserve to be murdered.

@garyhall5397 Actually, our conversation has altered my theory regarding this case. Now, I'm of the opinion that the shooter is a young man who most likely has an S&M addiction. It's not simply about sex but about forcing himself onto women. It's all about power over women. That's why he chose Asian women, of whom he can most easily dominate. Regardless of whether or not he succeeded in having sex, he tried to play too rough and was kicked out of all three massage parlors. In a display of immature frustration, he decided to teach them a lesson, purchased a gun and started shooting. Yes, it's only my theory, but it seems to be the most logical conclusion. Thank you for the civil discussion.
