  1. The 'godfather' summoned all of the Congressional Republicans into the Oval Office as soon as he arrived. Trump understands that 'every an has his price' and has the resources to pay it. Obviously, he gave them an offer they couldn't refuse. His 'embrace' sealed their oath of allegiance to him, above party and nation. That's why he has absolute control over the Senate and House Republicans. Woe to anyone who breaks their vow by not holding the Trump Party line. Yes, I said Trump Party because he owns the Republicans. This is the only possible explanation for their shameless behavior throughout the impeachment proceedings. This is also the only explanation of McConnell's public statement that he would follow the White House counsel's guidance and that there is 0 chance of impeachment passing the Senate. This is illegal and unconstitutional. After the backlash of a failed impeachment, Trump will win the election, Dems will lose the House and a vindicated Trump will be unstoppable. Within only 4 years, Trump and his motley mob of Cabinet henchmen will have successfully conducted a coup against our democracy, without firing a shot. He has already floated ending term limits and is poised to become America's first dictator. Of course, his ego would prefer the title of 'King of the World.' Then, his heirs in waiting could inherit his 'kingdom'. Bada-bing. Just like that. You think I'm crazy? Who's gonna stop him? His only check on power is the Dem controlled House and they have already failed, simply because everyone dismissed it as only a hyper-partisanship. Guess again. Tick-tock.......(crickets chirping)
