  2. Yep i lived in south dakota. It got just as cold. I would wait for the bus at the end of the driveway in it. Ice tear drops and frozen snot.

  3. I want to know how everything gets fixed there. What the maintenance or carpenters do outside. Installing a new roof in that cold or power lines would be life threatening.

  8. Well said. I am thankful for everything i have. Here in the usa i am considered low income making around $50,000 a year. But i am rich compared to the people in these countries. Seeing this makes me feel lucky but when it comes down to it, they can change the situation of their country. Elect someone who will do something. Open schools to educate them.

  12. Its called a block heater. Its probably not enough there. That is cold enough to freeze oil in your motor, fuel in your lines and tank. Like the people in alaska, they have to keep the car running nonstop.

  13. I experienced that cold when i lived in south dakota. The cold wind just rips through your clothes. No matter what you wear. It did not last that long though, these guys deal with it everyday.
