They’re fighting a psychological war in retaliation for Ukraine. Countries like Canada and the United States all of a sudden became a lot less unified within their respective nations after Ukraine kicked off. Putin brought back the soviet active measure tactics. Obama wanted a war with Russia, and he got it. Russia doesn’t get presidents elected, they don’t put hits on US soldiers, they flood the internet with both left and right wing propaganda to fuel both sides and turn them against their own government and their fellow citizens with a different ideological outlook. That’s what they do, it’s almost all they do. It didn’t have to be like this, but obama tried to pull a fast one on putin in Ukraine because putin won’t submit to globalization, because it’s a biproduct of soviet influence and it’s designed to fail.

I think China has Ali realized that they truly are number 2 in Asia, as NATO stands back and let’s Russia work, while a Chinese invasion of Taiwan would be met by US military action.
