Because if you looked at the history of the region before the USSR formed, or even an ethnic tribal map of the region, or picked up a history book in general, you'd know that was always Russia territory, for more than 1000 thousand years. It was stolen from them by Mongols and Tatars, and they eventually crushed the Tatars and reclaimed it as their own. When Lenin created the Ukrainian state, he didn't recognize the ethnic boundaries in the region, so many Russians woke up one day to find they weren't Russian anymore. This is what drives the conflict in eastern Ukraine, because those people all grew up being told by their grandparents that they're actually Russian. Ukrainian speaking people literally have no historical ties to the region. Remember, the Crimean sailors who fought against Lenin were Russians, not Ukrainians. There are even Soviet maps from as late as the 1980's that don't show Crimea as part of Ukrainian SSR.

No, white was the dominant identity. That's why we all allegedly have "privilege". It's a means of making us submissive. Once the real Communists come, BLM, Antifa, and all of the gay people are eliminated. Karl Marx believed in racial purity and racial superiority, and Antifa and Anarchists. Communists hate Anarchists because of their ideas about individualism. And the gay people go because, well, it's just how it's always been in every other system throughout history. When he says "better red, than dead", he means you will eventually be the one thinking that. You'll accept Communism so as not to die, and all of the people who actually demanded it perish. People on the right are the people who will live within their means, these leftists want more and more and more. The people who want more and more aren't thinking about the collective, but about themselves. You would make a much better Communist than any of these leftists, all the Communists need to do is make you abandon your faith, and accept a big brother Government. Once the real Communists come, you'll see them as the only thing that can save you, because they will be the only ones who can save you. The leftists would welcome the real Communist with open arms, as would you, and they'll take you without a single shot being fired.

That's because it didn't collapse, "Perestroika" was just step one. Russia, in 20 years, went from being an Atheistic left wing dictatorship, to a centre right Christian country, which is what America and Canada were at the time of this lecture. The tables were simply turned, North America slowly started it's shift towards Socialism, just as the USSR began Perestroika. I think people like Yuri Bezmenov were themselves sleepers, and it was their job to throw people curve balls when the time was right. He lays out what's going to happen in the future, but Russia isn't some Communist hellscape anymore, it's actually quite desirable to many Westerners, mainly the right wing, Conservative Christians. Think about it, if America descends into civil war within the next decade, eventually a UN peace envoy will need to be rolled in to "maintain the peace". At that point, there will really only be one country that could lead such an effort, and that's the Russian Federation, and at that point, I have a feeling that right wing Christian's in America would see Christian Russian soldiers in their country as a viable solution, because at least they won't tolerate the left wing nonsense. I don't think Russia even sought to finish the job, but after what the Obama administration did in Ukraine in 2014, they retaliated. Just remember, everything was normal prior to the summer of 2014, and then everyone started arguing over random nonsensical ideas they were getting from nameless quotes being shared around on Facebook.

America is on the brink of collapse and the only people who don't realize that are Americans. The USSR didn't collapse, it simply restructured. That's what "Perestroika" literally means, they opened up the airwaves and allowed American propaganda to influence their people, they allowed them to riot and demand change instead of the usually military crackdown, and then they implemented neo-liberalism, and everything actually got worse. Then a wave of terrorist attacks swept across Russia, and the at the time Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, said he will solve this problem personally. He sent the military into Chechnya, crushed the rebels, and then struck up a peace deal which to this day still stands more than 20 years later. The people were happy, because this relatively unknown man made them a promise, and he kept it. And then on New Years Eve, 1999, Boris Yeltsin resigns, and appoints Vladimir Putin as President of the Russian Federation, after which the final stages of Perestroika were completed. The country had been completely restructured, in a way that it cannot be subverted. Gorbachev himself said in a recent interview that he knew what he was doing when he enacted Perestroika.
