Yeah, Putin isn’t going anywhere. Non-Slavic people talking about Slavic countries like they operate like western countries is hilarious. Russians desire strong man leaders, Putin is their ideal. This is how it’s been since the Vikings founded Kyiven-Rus. Plus, Russians and Ukrainians quite literally evolved to handle incredibly cold environments. Remember, it was the sophisticated Nazi military that froze to death on the eastern front, not the Russians and Ukrainians fighting for the red army.

Ukraines main problem right now is that their energy infrastructure is in ruins, meaning the remaining grid is under a lot of stress. Ukraine’s energy minister even asked the residents of Kyiv to leave the country for the next 4 months to take pressure off of the grid. If things get even worse, then the manufacturing facilities will be out of power, and the Ukrainians won’t be able to replenish their domestic artillery, which is still the backbone of their artillery, which would then lead to supply problems. The NYT published an article the other day that said Russia hasn’t ran out of ammunition because they’ve ramped up production to keep stockpiles high, and since Ukraine doesn’t have the ability to launch 100 cruise missiles into enemy territory to target infrastructure, they can’t slow down Russian mass production. Russias military industry is government owned, meaning that if the government wants more weapons, they just make them.

There’s 140 million people in Russia. They have plenty of manpower. Russia just mobilized 400,000 soldiers on top of what they already had in Ukraine. Ukraine has less than 300,000 soldiers left, and they’ve been fully mobilized for months. The advantage in manpower now belongs to Russia, and they’ll just keep mass producing missiles and artillery shells because the military contractors are all state owned.

Russia isn’t running out of chess pieces, they just mobilized more men than are in the entire Ukrainian military, and they’ve ramped up mass production of missiles and artillery shells. The military industrial complex in Russia is state owned, meaning if the state wants more ammunition, they just make it, no questions asked. You’d also be a fool to believe that Russia didn’t begin stockpiling for this war in 2014.
