The property is real, but it belongs to Arkady Rotenberg, a Russian construction tycoon. He took Russian State media on a tour of the "Palace", and it's still under construction both inside and out. The entire thing was a fabrication, but the West is still running with this story because Navalny and his team were being paid between $10-$20 million per year since 2013 for what they were doing, as the video shown on Russian television showed, so they aren't going to just abandon this after all of the money that they have invested. Again, this whole ordeal is a highly orchestrated propaganda campaign that went south, and the West are trying to do everything they can to hide what has been happening and what was revealed this week. Navalny was never a threat to Putin, he's just a foreign paid subversive being made out to be something that he isn't.
