  2. For hundreds of years being on the left was synonymous being a classical liberal. If you look up those political tets with a a grid, the center area of the bottom left quadrant if where classical liberals fall.

  5. No tractors. Hydroponics use a tenth as much water as normal farming, and aeroponics uses a fraction of what hydroponics uses. As for the equipment, that's fairly expensive, but not as expensive as tractors, combines, etc.. Electricity, now that's the big problem. Grow lights eat a huge amount of electricity, and that costs even more money.

  8. There's a lot of terrifying implications in what you just wrote. You speak like we've moved past the Enlightenment. What is demonstrably wrong with classical liberalism? Also, it's anything but conservative. When the US was founded on classical liberalism it was a radical departure from the conservative royalists.
