Floating a theory is not the same as "suggesting" it. I think a more likely scenario is that Netanyahu knew it was coming but did nothing because it would give him an excuse for the genocidal attack now underway and clearly already planned in advance. Of all people the one who made me pause for thought was Charlie Kirk (yes, I nearly threw up at the time but even a broken clock is right twice a day). He pointed out that he had actually recently visited that stretch of the fence and that you couldn't walk a hundred metres without being challenged by heavilly armed IDF. Yet on the day, they appear to have been caught napping. Waters is right to be suspicious, even if he has maybe gone slightly along the wrong track A much clearer conspiracy is that of obscuring the actual details of the attacks. We got a whole slew of reports of gang rapes, beheaded babies, torture etc. There was literally zero evidence for such events but the sheer quantity of second and third hand "eyewitness" evidence ("I spoke to someone who had been told by someone else who was told by...." etc) was enough to make news and discussion outlets (even Damage Report and Young Turks) respond to them as if they were true. But if they were, then Israel would have had the whole site swarming with UN war crimes inspectors by now. Instead they have buried the "evidence" as quickly as possible. The released (yes, not rescued) hostages have given the lie to this too. They report being treated decently by their captors and one witness has told us that IDF tanks deliberately fired ordnance into several houses where they they knew hostages were. (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HugMS0k0kB4 ) Carefully orchestrated "rumours" of beheadings and mutilation give a handy cover to explain the mangled, limbless and headless corpses which would result from close range use of artillery shells. It needs to be noted that the above interview has been censored in Israel. It's likely (not certain) that Waters is wrong about a false flag attack. But it is good that at least someone is listening to the narrative and spotting the holes in it.
