No. These depredations are the result of sanctions placed on the country by the United States. It's effectively the same technique they used to bring Pinochet to power in Chile. The suggestion that Biden is a Socialist is hilarious. The Democrats would be considered to be on the right in any country with proportional representation.

@josephyewlett2713 Um. No. That's not socialism. Every civilised country has that in one form or another. It means, for example, that someone who has a contagious disease will seek help rather than spread it to others, that people are less likely to be bankrupted by illness and forced to rely on the state as a result, that less working days are lost through treatable illness and that people don't die or become disabled because they are too poor to afford treatment, thus depriving society of their skills, experience and other contributions. It's a slam dunk. Everyone wins. How would it make people die of hunger?

@johnprekurat6960 There were no liberals 2000 years ago but I think I know what you mean. I'm not a Christian but I find it very difficult to understand how someone could read the sermon on the mount and then vote for someone like Trump.

@12presspart Um no. Socialism is when those who create the wealth (the workers) benefit directly from it. It's based on the Labour Theory of Value which was first explored by the Ancient Greeks but not properly refined and codified until the classical economists (Smith, Ricardo, Marx) came on the scene in the 18th and 19th century. Communism (according to Marx) is the theoretical projection of socialism which would be created by future generations as the need for government fades away. That's the theory, anyway.

Can't you tell? It's clear that she has personally canvassed the opinions of every living and voting American and knows for a fact that the majority of them support Trump. Only a complete idiot would make such a claim otherwise. Oh! Wait a second....I've just seen the flaw in my argument......
