  1. He doesn't understand that most American Jews are Americans who happen to be Jewish, not Jews who happen to be in America. Some are conservative, some are downright reactionary, some are progressive and some are even socialists. But the most important thing about them is that they are Americans. Demanding that they cast their votes according to the interests of another country is patronising and insulting - and, let's be clear, Antisemitic.
