  1. The important thing to note is that a large number of former Labour voters took the trouble to come out and vote for the Anti-Labour candidate. They could have shrugged off a large number of Labour voters staying at home but actually voting for a candidate who explicitly presented himself as Anti-Starmer is a different matter entirely. The Muslim vote will have been significant but the numbers mean that there is more to it than just that. This bodes very badly indeed for Starmer and co in the coming general election.
