If Egypt is turning against Israel it is doing so with US permission. The subsidies being paid by the US to Egypt since 1978 are really bribes to keep this dictatorship on side with Israel - effectively, a hidden part of the overall subsidy being paid to support Israel. That's why the US was so determined to restore the dictatorship after the Arab Spring. If the US is allowing it to take up a hostile position to Israel then that is a massive change in US policy. Maybe Jordan will be next?
