  1. There have been times when the US has acted as an intermediary, albeit one strongly biased towards Israel. This is no longer the case. It is now a straightforward advocate for Israel and quite willing to collude with Israel's war crimes. Its demands are laughable. Israel is having its backside handed to it by Hezbollah right now. It has failed to intimidate Iran and, as if inspired by the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, Hamas are continuing to wrongfoot massively better-armed troops in Gaza. Even timid little Jordan is talking back at Netanyahu and the vile Mohamed Bin Salman is beginning to worry about his population chopping HIM up and putting his body in a suitcase. Israel is in no position to make demands of any sort. Its army is equipped and trained to hunt down and murder women and children, not fight committed, well armed and well trained soldiers who are ready and willing to die, if necessary. That doesn't fit the Tik Tok army's profile at all. now the vaunted Iron Dome and similar high-tech "defence" systems are creaking and proving to be less than invincible, at best, a total waste of an awfie lot of money at worst. Demands? Hah!
