Baddiel is an example of the hierarchy of racism which Starmer's Labour Party appears to have embraced is openly and unashamedly practiced in the wider press and media. Imagine if someone echoed his disgusting portrayal of Jason Lee and portrayed David Beckham (for example) as a hook nosed Shylock figure. There is no way that that person would ever have appeared on television again - quite rightly so, I might add. But when the victim of his racism was someone of African descent no-one turned a hair. It didn't even result in an apology until years later when his hypocrisy was made clear to all. Antisemitism should not be tolerated under any circumstances but the same should apply to all forms of racism without any exceptions. And all racists should be equally condemned and banished from our screens for life!
