  1. Everyone who is being purged this way should fight back. What Starmer is trying to do is destroy the Labour Party as a progressive force and remove the left option from British politics altogether. There are two possible ways forward at this short notice. Either stand as an independent or support another left party such as the Greens. Whatever the outcome, progressive forces need to come together after 5 July and look at all the options for being ready to fight the next election as a unified force.
