  1. The day he said "I am a Zionist", Hardie rolled over in his grave. He recognised that it was a colonialist (they didn't use the term "racist" then) movement which went against every value the Labour movement stood for. He was passionately anti-Zionist. Starmer shames the whole movement.

  2. Starmer is an example of the "middle ground" trap. Most times when Labour chases the middle of the road floating voter they fail anyway (Gaitskell, Callaghan, Kinnock, Brown, Miliband) but success is still failure because you end up with someone like Blair or Starmer who betray everything the Labour movement is supposed to stand for - effectively Tories in disguise.
