  1. There wasn't a "landslide" in votes in 2019. There was a very small increase in the Tory vote due to the UKIP/Brexit Party vote collapse. Because the Tories had expertly targeted their efforts that led to a landslide in seats in a First Past the Post election. Even though he lost, Corbyn still got more votes than Blair had won with in 2005. And we can confidently predict that Starmer won't get as many votes next time. Let's face it: He's actually told people on the Left that he doesn't want their support. All Sunak has to do is get the Tory base to dutifully turn out (as they always do) while tinkering at the edges with voter registration and boundary gerrymandering and we'll have another 5 years of this hell.
