  1. I lived in Stamford Hill back in the 1980s. It was difficult to engage with the Orthodox Jews there because they tended to keep themselves to themselves. But those I did talk to were solidly anti-Zionist. They considered "Israel" to be an idea rather than a piece of real estate. They are horrified at the atrocities being carried out by Israel and you'll usually find contingents of them on pro-Palestinian marches. I suppose it's possible that they are getting targeted because they are so visible but I also think it's likely that these are false flag attacks intended to draw them away from supporting Palestinians.
