  1. All agreed. "Wealth" comes from the Old English "weal" which means well being and was generally used in reference to the community rather than individuals. Financial concepts like profit and loss,etc are accountancy terms and are only peripheral to economics in so much as they show where wealth is being siphoned off. Wealth is produced by the community and rightly belongs to it.
