@TheHesseJames I think you might be confusing inequality which is a political concept with asymmetry which is mathematical. I doubt if anyone would disagree with the proposal that hard work, ingenuity and commitment should be rewarded. That's a good thing. But allowing people to use their political and economic power to grab all the resources is not only morally repugnant but gums up the whole economic machine which produces the wealth.

Thank goodness someone is getting this into perspective as far as Germany is concerned - and spotting the danger that we in the UK are in. For me, the worry is not the number of people likely to vote Reform. I think they have probably reached their peak, in fact. The danger is in the number of people who are so appalled by the corrupt cynicism and rank incompetence of the major parties that they throw up their hands and stay at home while Reform supporters are enthused and energised by the opinion polls and turn out in record numbers. At that point, we are in serious danger of having a Fascist leaning party in charge
