@nickryder9669 You must be very young then. The most successful economic policy was the Keynesian programme which was put into place in 1945 and lasted until Thatcher came along and broke it. All Blair did was continue the disastrous Thatcher "miracle" until it reached its inevitable conclusion when everything fell to pieces in 2008. Since then, all governments, including this one, have tried to revive the disastrous economics of Thatcherism. By the way, Growth doesn't mean a thing if it's accompanied by high unemployment, falling living standards and increasing inequality. Pinocet's Chile had record growth!
