  1. As usual, you're absolutely spot on with the analysis but I wish I had your optimism. I think that Starmer is likely to keep backing Reeves until he's forced to go himself and who would replace them? Almost everyone with competence and integrity has already been pushed out of the Parliamentary Labour Party and the majority of Labour MPs wouldn't support a genuinely progressive leadership anyway. That was the case when Corbyn was in charge but it is even more so now.
