Utter nonsense! Just like previous "mis-selling" by banks and insurance companies this is pure fraud and the perpetrators should be treated as criminals. They should be forced to trace and compensate their victims. It is disgraceful that the onus is on the victim to seek compensation. And none of them should be allowed to continue working in the finance sector or anywhere else where trust is an issue.

@QuirkyBiscuit That's easy. They could have told their customers that they were selling a product and that they were getting commission for doing so. I'm astonished that you need to ask. Are you so far down the rabbit hole of devious and misleading behaviour that honesty and candour are alien concepts for you?

@QuirkyBiscuit Yes. I'm sure many of the fraudsters will get away with it - just as the Pension and insurance mis-selling crooks got away with it. Not a single one of them went to jail.
