  1. Israel has nothing to be triumphant about. Killing leaders is neither here nor there with these sorts of movements. There are plenty of potential leaders waiting to step up to the plate. What is far more significant is the fact that Israel failed in its invasion of Lebanon and that they still haven't defeated Hamas in Gaza. And now they appear to be giving themselves a third front to fight on in Syria. Or are they panicking, perhaps? Maybe they're thinking that the momentum of the Jihadists may carry them on down towards the Golan Heights?
