  1.  @dwanareese1774  Oil is fungible so the amount that went to the US is irrelevant. The problem was that Saddam was about to stop selling oil in dollars. If that caught on, the US economy would dive bomb. So yes. It was for the oil.

  2. Nations do exist by right. They exist with the consent of their people (all of them) and the agreement of their neighbours. The only way Israelis will ever get security is by negotiating a JUST settlement with the Palestinians and making peace with their neighbours. Israel is currently on an accelerating path to its own destruction.

  3. The October 7 "atrocity" stories were mostly lies. The Rabbi who claimed he saw mutilated babies admitted he lied. The injuries of the vast majority of the dead were caused by tank shells and heavy machine gun fire. Hamas didn't have either of these weapons. In other words, they were killed under the Hannibal Directive by tanks and helicopter gunships. They were murdered by Israel! And, the Special Prosecutor appointed by Israel has not been able to find evidence of ONE single sexual assault, let alone the stories of multiple gang rapes that proliferated after the raid. In fact, she asked for the law to be changed so that rape could be assumed to have occurred! How's that for confidence in the evidence? The evidence for all these things is in the public sphere so the idiocy of people who continue to tell these lies never ceases to stun me.
